The town of TAWARAMOTO is situated in the center of Nara’s basin. Its history goes back to the Yayoi period, when earthenware pottery were made, tools were being made out of stones, and when rice agriculture began.

The daily life from over 2,000 years, still lives on today. By standing on this land, and by breathing in the wind, you can almost taste the air from the ancient times (B.C.) and realize why the people from the Yayoi period chose to settle here.
